1) ASIST skips the CONSULT or SYMPTOM screens and goes directly to the Service Manual, why?

ASIST skips the CONSULT or SYMPTOM screens and goes directly to the Service Manual, why?
 
 The ASIST CONSULT and Symptom Code screen will not display if there are no Bulletins, and will take you directly to the diagnosis sections of the service manual.

NOTE: Only applies to 2009 and up vehicles.

Campaign Bulletins can now be found under CONSULT and Symptom Codes
 
 Campaign bulletins are still located under ASIST Campaigns, but they can also be found under ASIST CONSULT and Symptom diagnosis.

Why do I now have to enter information before I can access NATS?
 
 The data the technician inputs will be logged by Nissan North America and also reported to the National Insurance Crime Bureau. This change does not affect the process of reprogramming keys.

There is a message on the ASIST Home page about the Monitor Settings, why?
 
 Soon ASIST will only support display settings of 1024 x 768 pixels, and Normal Font. After you change the display settings the message will no longer appear.

I cannot change my Monitor Settings, why?
 
 If you are not able to apply your Monitor settings because you do not have administrator rights, or after clicking "Apply" the changes are not affected by your changes

You may not have access rights to change the monitor setting, please contact your computer administrator to apply the changes.

OR

If do not know where to change your monitor settings, go to START, select CONTROL PANEL, locate and double-click DISPLAY icon and click the SETTINGS tab. Make your changes here and restart your computer.

If you need additional assistance, please contact ASIST as soon as possible.

When selecting the year on the ASIST application I get a error, what do I do?
 
 When selecting the year on the ASIST application I get the error message, "system error triggered from app object unresolvable external gs_html_start_year when linking reference"

1. Restart your computer and rerun the ASIST Synchronizer and after it is successfully completed, please try running ASIST again.

2. If the above step does not work, and issue still exists, please contact ASIST as soon as possible.

A new button under INFO Tool Box called "HD Navi Tools"
 
 HD Navi Tools supports the HDD Rewrite application that is used to update/change the data stored in the HDD navigation systems; it also links to support materials, and the license server for the install code. For more information see "Infiniti bulletin: ITB08-021"

My HD Navi Tools button is disabled, why?
 
 Please review this list below.

-Currently the HD Navi only applies to the Infiniti brand, so the button is only enabled under the Infiniti brand.

-If you have a CONSULT-III unit, you must run the install package "HDD Rewrite Application Program Version 1.21, Published 04/28/2008" listed under the Software Update Utility.

-If your workstation is not a CONSULT-III unit you would have to install the package manually. To run the installation package from a non-C-III unit, go to c:\asist\HDNavi\ and run the setup.exe.

If the above information does not apply, and you need additional support, please contact ASIST.
